proxys dont work to well because as soon as you use them the techy's block them. therefore you need ones you cant find easily on google. maybe you should test your system first, see what words are banned. so you can search for what you want without useing proxys: http://www.zensur.freerk.com/kword/
www.vtunnel.com ----> type the address of ur site ex: youtube.com in the search bar works good and isent blocked good luck!
@ halo2help: i agree, www.vtunnel.com is good but is blocked on my network you see whether its blocked or not differs from the networks your on. so its just a random guess to see if the proxys work. they have a portable version of Firefox with the TOR software built in called TOR Park - http://torpark.nfshost.com/ that's what I use, it's easy and you dont need to do any changes or installing on the computer your using it on just bring it in on a flash drive or something... sometimes typeing the website but type https:// instead of http:// that can also work also try: http://www.unblockworld.com/ http://megaproxy.com www.superproxy.com www.fomme.com www.11business.com www.vip-surf.net ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, proxys, how i waste my time with them dont do anything i suggest unless u want to get caught!!!!!!!!
thx for the sites guys but none of them worked, they were either goverment blocked or school blocked. All thats left for me to try is that fire fox idea. Also if you guys could name more proxy avoidance sites that would help.
@kenio8185: its hard to say if firefox will work for you as you may not be allowed to install things unless you workaround it or have been allowed to do so. its best to go with a program based proxy as they cant be as easily be blocked as the internet based ones. it may be just as easy to use tor itself as it wont require another browser and a different browser may stand out when people see it/records of what you have been veiwing. yes the wont be able to see what you have been looking at but will be able to see that you have opened firefox, which will be a bit sus.
