I got a PS3 for Christmas and I have had trouble playing Underworld Evolution Bluray on my TV. My TV goes up to 1080i and Im using a HDMI cable. Any help would be most appreciated.
the ps3 keeps telling me that its unable to play the disc. My TV goes to 1080i and the PS3 just says unable to play disc. Ive Updated the firmware, the settings are set to automatic and everytime I set the dispaly the ighest is 1080i ive set it to 1080p and the tv cant handle it. any help would be great.
if your ps3 will not play a blu ray disc then it does not have a blueray player. in other wordsyou are limited to regular dvds
If you have the model with the 60GB drive, then I have the identical configuration as you. Underworld Evolution plays fine on my PS3. If other blu rays play fine on your PS3, I would take the DVD back and ask for another copy. Your copy may have gotten damage during the burning process.
Yea Try a diff disc. Could be just that specific disc.. if you tried others and you can't view any bluRay Discs... then i would possibly wait till the next system update for ps3 which should be end of march see if something happened with your last system update, maybe there was a problem cause of the update. let us know if you fix.
