    Hi Amigos,
I've had a look at other postings but none seem to answer a ? I have: When buying AnyDVD, I notice it costs 33.76. However, if I bought the AnyDVD (HD/Blu-Ray option) then it's only 20.67. I may be being dim (not unknown:)

But does the 'option' package do everything the dearer one does? And so, I should purchase that version?

Been using the DVDDecrypter for a long time now, but deciding to put some cash back into the coffers. And, any stuff that's been complicated to back-up, the free trial of AnyDVD has always come good.

Thanks for any advice and, thanks for a really great site with truly helpful members.

    Regards all,
    Pete :)

Before purchasing, I would suggest you take full advantage of the 21-day free trial period to see if you like it.

I would suggest you also download dvdfab HD Decrypter, which is a free ripper, as dvd decrypter is no longer updated.

You might also want to download dvd shrink, which is also free, to compress the movie to a dvd-5 disk.

If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Contacted the peeps at Slysoft and was told that the 'options' part of AnyDVD (the version with HD/Blu-Ray) is an Add-on to AnyDVD. So that cleared it all up.

    Purchased AnyDVD without options.

I have tried the Slysoft stuff, off and on over the years, but never bought it because DeCrypter always sorted codes out... but as you say, it's a bit long in the tooth... so decided to buy some software for a change. Works a treat.

    Thanks for the answer though,
    regards,
    Pete :)
