Hi. I want to put some CDs of mine onto one DVD, and keep the Wave format (so that there is no loss in quality). It appears Nero and other burning software packages won't let me do this, however, and i don't know what to do. Can anyone help me? thanks!
what do you want to use the DVD for? For backup, or to play the WAV files off your computer? If you want it just for backup, make image files of the CDs, then burn them as data files onto the DVD. That way you have an exact copy of the CDs which you can burn back to CD at a later time, or you can virtually mount the image on your computer as a drive as well. Any burning app like nero or clone cd can make images, and for virtually mounting, use Daemon Tools. If you just want to store them as WAV files, first rip your CDs using EAC (exact audio copy). Its the best (and free) ripper there is. Once you've extracted the WAVs just create separate folders on a DVD-ROM and drag them to it using whatever burning program you use...its not much more complicated then that.
[bold]Iso Buster[/bold] and [bold]Deamon Tools[/bold] work great with eachother! Deamon Tools isn't as savvy as Alcohol 120% but then Alcohol isn't free (for personal use) is it. Ced
