putting your own music on the hard drive?

    i know where to put it, but what settings for the .wma i want to put my own music for games like tony hawk underground. thanx

    im guessing that you have the evox dashboard installed so i think (im not sure)if you go back to the ms dashboard (the defalt one before evox was installed) and just copy the music from an audio cd from the defalt xbox media player that should do the trick if not sorry or if that was the way you were doing it then heres another way connect the xbox to your pc and using an ftp client go to e drive and there is a music folder just put your wma files in there thats all i can think off

    i did that and it freezes up when it loads my carerer in the the tony hawk games im thinking that the wma's have to be at a set bit rate i put them on 96 bit and 44 hrz

    well if you rip them from the audio cd in the xbox to the hard drive i would imagine it would rip them at the right bitrate other than that i dont know sorry mate

    i made a tony hawk song track... copy like a regular cd...but i had it to use cd-rw so my xbox can read it... insert cd.. and it converted to wma... it was easy
