q6600 overclocking

    Hello everyone :) I just got my q6600 and i want to overclock it to 3ghz, but i dont know anything about overclocking :) i feel like i am in the woods at midnight :). So i am asking for your help how to do it properly. And explain what does what :) Thank you in advance. :)
    My stup is:
    Processor: q6600 (Asus Lion Square CPU Cooler)
    Motherboard: Asus p5ql-e
    RAM: 8gb A-DATA DDRII (16C-128Mx8) DDR800
    Don't know if u need other info but here it is:
    Video: Asus Radeon HD4850 512mb GDDR3
    HDD: Samsung HD753LJ 750gb SATAII
    PSU: Chieftec 700w CFT-700-14CS
    Case with good airflow.

    It's simple, all you need do is increase the front side bus speed in the BIOS, you shouldn't need to up the voltage to get to 3Ghz.
