Hi i'm new... like 2 minutes new lol im also new to copying dvds. i was just wondering what the best software would be for copying which also keeps the dvds in the same condition as they were bought thnx much
There really is know best program as much of it has to do with personal preference. Read this thread as it outlines the most used options available. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/622748 When rip/burning movies compression is needed to take your storebought DVD9 and make it fit on a DVD5 blank disc. Compression does result in incremental loss of quality. It order to make a 1:1 copy you'll need to do so on Dual Layer discs. I think you will find the initial loss of quality is not noticeable on most backups, depending on your process, and therfore not neccessary for you to go that route.
1) rip with dvdfabhddecrypter 2)encode to iso with imgburn 3) burn to dl+R with imgburn. Make sure to booktype to dvd-rom in a compatible burner
