I dont have a dvd reader and I want to install windows vista but this one only comes in dvd.... is it possible to burn it into some cd and then install it??? will my computer recognize I am installing an OS and ask for the next cd after installing the previous one??? please help....
how old is the system you are trying to install this on? how much ram do you have? if you don't have a gb of ram you won't be able to do this, what you could do is go to microsoft's site and do a online check to see if your system will be up to the task, here is the link, http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...83-C24F-4863-A389-3FFC194924F8&displaylang=en

I don't know if it is possible, but not having a DVD drive in these days of multi-dvd installs, and PC DVD Games is a huge set back to your pc's setup. I would suggest buying dvd drive. Here is a Samsung Drive which will burn all formats, has lightscribe capabilities, and uses a IDE connection. $30.99 w/ free shipping And HERE is a link to 7 drives all between $28-$38 dollars some with free shipping some without (shipping usually $3-$4). All drives can burn CD's and DVD's at multiple speeds and are manufactured by reputable companies. All these drives are sold at http://www.newegg.com a very reputable online electronics dealer. yes you can do it you just need someone with a dvdrom and a cd burner, just zip the files and split the files on to cd's
