I don't have a backup of my xbox hdd, nor a way of transfering one to the box. I was wondering if that disk would reformat the C drive and resore the dashboard, or just wipe the saves and stuff. The disk is sold here http://www.academicsuperstore.com/market/marketdisp.html?PartNo=714923 and help is apprecieated.
well we all no that there is only one chick that can make a bush look good and that has to be Pamela Anderson!!!!! the award for best bush goes to Pamela Anderson.
think of it this way, why would they want to reinstall the dash everytime someone rents an xbox from blockbuster, all they need to do for the new customer is to delete the gamesaves etc.
Yea. Somehow my ms dash got deleted, and I did a restore c and I uninstalled the UDE thing because i got live, but now the ms dashboard isn't there anymore.
Let me check real fast. EDIT: Not that I can see on the screen. It just says "your xbox needs service" but there's no microsoft dashbord installed. EDIT2: I think I'm just going to try to buy a motherboard/hard drive combo, because I don't think this mobo will unlock another xbox hard drive, right?
Got it fixed. I have the XBox live 12 month starter pack, and I popped the xbox live arcade disk in, hit a random tab, and said it had to update. It did, I rebooted and presto.
