I have the full version and I want to batch process a few files overnight. I have just bought a mediagate 450 and want to use the H.264/ac3/avi setting is there a difference in quality between the fast, slow, and very slow, or does the fast just use more cpu. I have a core2 duo. I have searched and only come up with basic guides, none mention the fast, slow .and very slow. Thanks I know I can count on you guys.

im sure there is a perfect medium to this problem and the only way to check would be to experiment. I am guessing the long you encode the better the quality of the video.. considering you have two cores and its an over night job then it shouldn't take a rediculious amount of time to re - encode.
