Question about French Occupancy tax

    I was wondering, what is the French Occupancy Tax. The most I can find about it is that it is a tax based on the rental value of a property. Also, that you pay it if you are a resident in the property.

    How much is this tax?? Is it is based on region, how much is it for popular regions like Nice, Cannes & Monaco?
