I have a question about a mod chip and playing XBOX live. I already have a Executer 2 mod chip in my XBOX. Will this effect XBOX live and is there any way to get around it with this mod chip. If not, then what mod chip is the best to still be able to play XBOX live.
You cant play xbox live if you have a modchip running in the xbox. You have to disable it first, then you can play. I have a matrix that has the eject trick, but im not sure about the executer
they are all the same basically but some are quite pricey like the other one said aswel it depends on if you want solderless or to solder it's always best to solder quite a few are going with the alladin advance or the new executor one
Actually I already have the Executer 2 mod chip in my XBOX but my friend is asking me as he wants to get a mod chip but he still wants to be able to play his XBOX live.
The new Xecuter's have the external switch so all you gotta do it hit that and its off. I think the Matrix has em too. Either way look for a chip that has that.
i did say the latest x-ecuter which is 2.3b which is xbox live i have the alladin advance in one of my xboxs of course you have to play with your original game you cannot use you backed up copy
I suggest not having xbox live at all on a modded xbox or just leave your ethernet cord plugged in. Some games automatically log you in xbox live( Rainbow6 ) and if they detect a modchip, which they will you will be banned. LIke me haha.
i've read it on lots of forums people that have had a solderless modchip have had problemss with it not staying put proper or whatever but they update stuff all the time so maybe the solderless chips are better now
