    Hello,
I want to softmod my xbox, so I would like to ask you guys a few questions.

    1. Is it possible to make myself xbox cable like this: http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=83&products_id=2154&lsaid=291569

    2. And if I would buy that cable, will I be able to use my standart usb memory stick as mega x-key ? Transfer save games etc.

    3. Is it possible to adopt Softmod.Installer.Deluxe.v4.Nknave tutorial when I connect my xbox to pc with xboxhdm ? (Transfer those SID4 save game files from pc cdrom to xbox using semi-graphical filemanager (Midnight-Commander))?

Answers...Yes you can..just trash an old xbox pad cable and usb connector..the cables are the same color..ignore the yellow wire in the xbox cable..

The USB stick should be fine..format it fatx

Not sure about the installer..follow the rules for the install as usual and it should be OK...If you havent done this before take care and don't try anything too clever, certainly not xboxhdm..that's dangerous, why do you think you need it?...just follow the rules to install the saves and then load using the game....You may do better with Splinter Cell Ndure exploit....

Please explain in more detail exactly what you are attempting to do..
So far this seems like a straight line to a disaster...how do you propose to unlock the xbox drive to put any files on?, and how do you intend to ftp if you can't get in? Midnight commander is useless until you have an exploit mod running...

This all reminds me of a very old and discredited way of doing the first font exploit...Made a lot of dead xboxes that did...xbox-scene no longer support this method.. It's obsolete and unstable and they have lots of warnings about it...There are much better ways
