Question for you all that own a sony dru-500a

    What software are you using to be able to format cdr disks to drag and drop files too?

    Just about any software you use with any other cdr drive.I use RecordNow Max 4.5,Nero and Music Match Jukebox Plus.But,you do not "format" cdr media!You format cdrw media,or are you thinking od dvd RW ?

    Did anyone have a problem with RecordNow showing wrong blank disk size (2.??) instead of 4.7. RecordNow would not record the disk, is there a way to remove size check from recordnow.

    Are you sure you have the right drive selected?Do not use wizard,and be sure to click "DATA" not copy or video cd,etc. Mine shows correct if I do this,Also,of course,make sure it is the right media!It almost sounds like you have a partially recorded disc in the drive.

    No, not the obvious errors.

    I have been able to get the same disk to work for the same data after restarting/changing directory names etc. Just not sure what's the exact combination to use and how to fix it for good.
