question on firmware flash

    i have an external nec1100a burner flashed to a 1300 model thanks to them memeber here. its been still working flawless.
    the question is where is the flash stored? in the unit?.
    i wanted to use this burn with another PC. i can just plug it in and use it. and it will work the same. both systems are XP

    It is stored in the unit. It will work the same in another computer. No need to re-flash.
