Hi guys I have fairly limited comp knowledge but am learning so any advise would be appreciated.I bought a comp from ebay with win xp pro already installed but with no cd or product key etc. I have gone to win xp home page and it tells me my version is not legit, although i get automatic updates regularly which was set up I guess by the seller. I want to get a legit version so that if my comp crashes I will be able to run win xp pro. I know I can either get an upgrade or full version. What I want to know is what would be the best way to go? I have an old win 98 SE cd that a old comp of mine had loaded on it (comp has long died) so can I qualify for upgrade or would a full version be better. I have tried reading up on info but there is too much and I dont understand a lot of it. I would really appreciate any advise on this matter. Thanks. Kind Regards to all. Deb
