Hello everyone. First post but I've been visiting for about 2 weeks. Here is my Q:

After I back-up the DVD onto my HDD I create an image to burn. Is it safe to delete the files after I created the image?

I'm trying to clear up some space but I want to retain only the images of my DVD for future back-ups. Will deleting the files damage the image somehow? Hope this Q isn't too noob.

    TIA

    Hi TIA,
No question is too noob. Thats what this forum is all about!
I may be wrong, but it seems to me that if you have your original video files (about 8 GB) and your image video files (another 8 GB) you should be able to get rid of the video files.

However I don't see how you could store an image of a DVD-9 on your computer without using that much room.

Me, I would just delete em and see what happens!

I would recommend [bold]not[/bold] not storing a bunch of movies on your HDD unless you have [bold]lots[/bold] of room. :D
