questions about tmpgcen dvd author pls help

hi, thanks for reading this..
after conversion with tmpgcen i have my m2v + mp2 file
the mp2 was originally extracted from the orignal
ac3 from the divx movie.i had to use besweet to ensure
the sample rate is 48khz thats why its changed to mp2, but its actually still ac3 structure. So want to know if tmpgcen dvd author will be able to handle the mp2 correctly, since i have the ac3 plugin it should work? obvisouly i want to burn to dvd-r and watch on standalone. several attempts failed in the past beacuse tmpgcen failed to reconize ac3 format, so when i played on dvd player, no sound, but pic and subs are great.tmpgcen dvd author
should handle nicely right?, as long as i have the ac3 plugin, should be no prob? another question is will tmpgcen dvd author be able to also handle my subtiles also? cause i dont want to use Ifoedit,since it cant handle the ac3 ouput correctly.

please help this newbie out...
