I just bought an iPod Video 60GB. I installed the iTunes software and started to put in my songs. When I discovered that it can be used as a hard disk, I tried, by switching on the hard disk function in iTunes, but the disc logo was not shown in my PC. I then replug the iPod and saw the logo appeared for a while then disappeared when iTunes recognized the iPod. I have also tried to switch into harddisk mode in my iPod, but same problem exists. Can anyone solve my problem??

you mean after selecting the "enable disk use", do I need to eject the iPod from iTunes? coz I can't see the "IPOD VIDEO" in my "My Computer" after enabling it.....

To use your iPod as a portable hard drive, all you need to do is put it into disk mode. To do this,

<1> Toggle the Hold switch on and off.
<2> Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons for at least 6 seconds until the Apple logo appears.
<3> When the Apple logo appears, release the Menu and Select buttons and immediately press and hold the Select and the Play/Pause buttons until the Disk Mode screen appears.
