I'm just started learning to use DVD Lab Pro to make my own DVD for NTSC... as far as i'm awared, the resolution size for all material in NTSC is 720x480 (video, images, etc.) and i have the program configured for NTSC, but when i place a background image for the menus it looks stretched, and i noticed that the menu window measures 720x540 (which are the measurements for PAL display, not NTSC)... what should i do? use 720x480 or 720x540 images for the background? or there's a way to configure the menu windows to 720x480? will i need to take the same considerations when creating a image slideshow? also should i still make my videos for NTSC at 720x480 resolution or should i make adjustments to avoid stretched videos? any help or advice in the matter will be appreciated, thanks.
For picture resolutions use: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/246886 Use a good image program to create the backgrounds (photoshop) a trial is available from www.adobe.com
I appreciate your reply, but it doesn't answer my question... if the resolution for NTSC is 720x480, why when i'm creating a menu on DVD Lab Pro (which i have configured for NTSC) and i put a 720x480 image as background for a DVD menu, the image looks stretched?... what i need to know if there's someway to configure the menu for NTSC or should i make adjustments on my images when making the menus (as i noticed that the measurements on the menu window on DVD Lab Pro are 720x540=PAL) anyone who uses DVD Lab Pro could help me?
