Hi all; Ok, I'm looking at getting a ROM/Flash Kit for my son for his NDS for XMAS. I'm pretty certian that I am going to go M3/Passkey combo..it seems the most reliable. I have a couple of quick questions just to clarify a couple things so my wife understands here, obviously she has more faith in you folks than in me From what I understand the Passkey boots whatever is on the M3, both NDS and GBA files.. am I correct in assuming that? for the M3, any pros and cons on whether I get the SD, Mini SD or CF versions? Or is it just a matter of availablity of said media in my area? Also anyone ever used a converter in one of these units, by this I mean I have a bunch of XD cards from my digital camera that I don't use, and I've seed converters that will allow them to be used in SD / CF slots. Some feedback on the reliablity of Divineo would be appreciated as well anyone that purchased from them with either positive or negative results would be appreciated. Thansk a million in advance, Cheers, Kali
The Passcard is only for DS files, it is not needed for GBA games. CF seems to be very slightly better for homebrew running than SD/miniSD/microSD but the size of the CF unit outweighes this benefit. Never used a converter so I can't comment on this, but there be some problems running homebrew apps that write to the card. Divineo.co.uk and Divineo.cn are very good and relaible, apparently Divineo.com has problems with delays on sending items out, though I have never experienced this.
