    whats up drew, Ive been trying to ftp into my xp for 4 hours straight, I have evox on the hdd and my
    ip 192.168.0.1
    sub 255.255.255.0
    gate 192.168.0.1

    I used flashftp and tried to connect, nothing. Its no big secret into ftp, I guess I cannot get my xbox to broadcast the ip, I thought it was my firewall, took it down same thing, I booted out of winXp to win2000, samething. I have a link light and activity, It just wont connect. I wonder under evox do you have to be insid a certain app, o well. By the way that ip can be different on the evo disk depending on the version.

    Figured it out. This is what I did to the evox .ini file for anyone else out there:

    Made a copy of my evox file on the computer. Changed the .ini to look like this:

    [Network]

    SetupNetwork = Yes
    StaticIP = Yes
    Ip = 192.168.0.2
    Subnetmask = 255.255.255.0
    Defaultgateway = 192.168.0.1
    DNS1 = 0.0.0.0
    DNS2 = 0.0.0.0
    SkipIfNoLink = No
    SetupDelay = 10

    Saved that. Used xiso to make new .iso file. Burned with nero. Booted in xbox. Used Flash FXP. Went to quick connect. Entered the following:

    Server or Url: 192.168.0.2
    User Name: xbox
    Password: xbox

    And I was in.

    reeseg,
    If evox is already on your hard drive, then try changing static to yes, ip to 192.168.0.3. Then save and exit and then use flash fxp with the new ip. You may have to reboot the xbox before using flash, not sure though.

    I figured it out. I make my own network cable and it looks like my cable was too close to my monitor, electro magnetic intereference, Plus the cables kinda old, I moved it out of the way and wala. Now Im making my own skins in adobe for evo, keep on hackin
