Ok so have an origional xbox that I am currently going to mod with unleashx, I have already done this b4 i jus gave my modded 1 to a friend and he gave me his, but anyways i want to put my old 200gb PATA hdd into it cause i jus got a new 500gb SATA drive. Anyways it is 200gb Hitachi lockable model # HDS722525VLAT80 and I have checked it on the xbox hdd list and its lockable and it says i need a v1.6 xbox with evox but im not sure I have a v1.6 xbox and does it mean that I have to use evox instead of unleashx as my softmod? My xbox is production lone 1, from 2004, week 32, and is from the china factory. i would really appreciate it if someone could get back to me quickly on this, thanks.
Did you look on the list of capatable HDDs? The other info is just what that person used. So no, as far as I know the dashboard and version don't matter. Go back and look, I bet you're seeing what version console and dashboard that person used when he upgraded to the HDD. Go for it man, what do you have to loose? You have the HDD already sitting there collecting dust, the procedure is straight forward, again I say go for it
