I have some tv shows that are in an .rar file, and every time I extract it from the .rar file to my pc, and then ftp it to my xbox (via FlashFXP), it shows a red X next to the file in the Queue list. My question is: Can I just FTP the .rar file to the xbox, and can the xbox read it/open it. Thanks

if you copy the rar files to your xbox they can be viewed through the XBMC

k, so I put the .rar file onto the Xbox, and now when I access the tv show it says: "Need to Cache a big file, Continue?" so I continue and then it starts to copy all of the files, but then after a few seconds the same thing pops up, "Need to Cache a big file, Continue?" so I click it and it just doesn't do anything. I'm really confused about this.

Make sure those video files don't have long file names or illegal characters.

By that I mean, make sure it has a short name and doesn't have any letters or symbols that can't be used in Xbox file names.
