I am a bit of noob with DVD technology. Sorry.
I have a Pioneer DV-466 which has a 'Region 4' sticker on the back, I am in Australia. I want to buy a DVD from Amazon(US), I assume that these DVD's are Region 1 NTSC.
I am wondering whether my Pioneer DV-466 will play these DVD's?
I believe that my DVD player is 'Region Free' because it plays 'Region 2' DVD's from Amazon(UK) fine and burnt 'Region 1' DVD's bought from Malaysian markets no problems.
I hope that is enough information.

Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

you may need a hack for it, run a google search on your player and add 'hack' to the end.
see what pops up. i have a link somewhere, but i cant find it at the moment.
