I started this thread in the general software section but I'm having a problem converting an mpeg to xvid. Here is my problem: after I edit out the commercials from my mpeg and when i convert it to XviD, the size is double the mpeg when I had assumed the file would be half the size. I'm using WinAVIVideoConverter, if anyone can let me know what settings I should use, I would appreciate it.
the output is prbably an uncompressed avi? right click on the avi and read the properties... that may say? is there any compression settings of sorts in winavi ? sorry dont use it...
