when i try to create a iso by using qwix, it says that iso file is too large to fit on fat drive. now, all my hd's are formatted as fat and not ntsc. any help!!!!!!!!!?
If you are using Windows XP, then click on your C: or whatever partition you want to convert and go down to "format" Now under file system select "NTSF" then click on the "Start button. If you are not using Win XP, let me know what you are using...
First off.. forget everything you read above.. NTSC has absolutley nothing to do with your harddrive.. It's "NTFS" that you want to convert too. Read the link below.. http://www.pcanswers.co.uk/tutorials/default.asp?pagetypeid=2&articleid=32378&subsectionid=607
haha, woops, my bad. I was thinking ps2 there. I meant to say NTFS, sorry si2252 for the confusion! Thx for catching my mistake Motomatt, guess I should read my stuff over before posting it.
You could also follow this guide from Microsoft, http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/winxppro/maintain/convertfat.mspx
i released that you could right click your harddrive anf format it after i used software to convert drive. i did not read it properly and installed it to hard drive. then when i removed it, it cocked up my boot up process. in the end just had to re-install everything and chamge hd format there. no matter, its done now. i give qwix another go soon.
it all worked and when burned on disk they worked even with a thompson xbox drive. dont know if it was down to good quality disks that i used. just backed up doom3 and that worked to. it is only 3gb in size.
