I'm having a slight prob with my Epson R220, It's not loading the paper I'm using 130gsm Matt paper, had the printer about 3 year's. you have to stand over the top of it and hold the paper for it to load it.

In my experience, this happens to all inkjets after they get old, it happened to my Lexmark P706 and Epson 670. I think it's just time for replacement if it bothers you.

You could try cleaning the rollers.

There is actually paper that does that, but I wouldn't put too much stock in it. It adds a little tack to the rollers, I believe.

or can get a small bottle of rubber reneue by m.g. chemicals as i got an 8.5 oz(250ml) bottle of it for fixing laser printers feed rollers. other option is to use a fine grit sandpaper to roughen the feed rollers.
