R4 Alternative OS

I got the R4 with Moonshell.
Is there an alternative OS interface, that can used?

Depends what you mean by alternative OS, you can easily remove Moonshell and replace it with any homebrew you like (I use DSorganize)

You can also with slightly more difficulty completely replace the R4 firmware with a homebrew such as DSorganize, but you lose the ability to load ROMs.
