windows asked me to reformat my micro-sd in order to work, and because i did not want to lose my data/saved games, i backed it up on another computer that was able to read the micro-sd. and so i reformated it, but it gave me a message saying 'windows was unable to format drive'. so i tried it again, and no go. i went to plug it back into the computer that was able to read it, and now it wont work either. help please?
Have you tried another card reader? You might also want to try the Panasonic SD formatter... just Google it... that may work.
If all else fails try formatting in a dumb device (camera or phone) if it still cannot be formatted - time to throw it in the bin
i tried the Panasonic reformatter, it didnt work because it would say that i needed to 'unlock' the card, but this is micro-sd and there is no lock/unlock switch. anyways, i tried the windows reformatter once more, and magically, it worked! maybe i should have been more patient, but apparently it worked today and not yesterday. thanks for your responses!
