Right at first my ds wasnt reading my r4 card. someone said to use the paper shim trick and at first it didnt wirk. but then i just tried it again and it all came on but the only thing was all the _DSMENU.DAT etc. was listed above the games (im sure it shouldnt be like that. also none of the games would work! every time i clicked on 1 it would say "this types of files currently not allowed to operate" ???:S what does this all mean? ive downloaded all my games from nds-roms.com as thats where all my friends downloaded theres and they work fine in theres! where have i gone wrong? PLEASE help! would be HUGELY appreciated.
You need the correct firmware to make it work The problem with R4 is there are 12 firwares for the different cards that call themselves R4 The site in my sigature hosts all the firwares, pick the one you think it is and try, if its still the same try another - I am afraid its a bit of trial and error with R4's
