r4 ds video size

    I am using BatchDPG and moonshell for the r4 ds. I have a 1 GB micro sd memory card. I plan to put movies in it. Does, the moonshell also shrink the file size, when the video file is converted? Approximately how many MB?

    The answer is not how far it will shrink, but rather, what will be the final size. Size is determined by bitrate. As such, use a video bitrate calculator to determine. BatchDPG uses VBR but use the average encoding bitrate.

    If that makes no sense, then try reading the forum guides.

    700 mb movies will turn into 300 mb movies after encoding.
