Hi all im new to this forum and just found it by having a gander around the web as you do so was wondering if anyone out there can help out with my question. I have an R4 and have just downloaded Sonic Chronicles The Dark Brotherhood as i have the original already for my little lad for xmas and thought my girl would also like it for hers but the trouble is it starts up as normal create sav file etc and start to load but then stops and just comes up with cannot access sav file and no game just says turn off and re-insert game again any ideas on what i need to do to get it to work?? many thanks damo
it would seem the r4ds with latest genuine firmware v1.18 wont play it mate . link for r4ds compatibility - http://wiki.scorpei.com/index.php/R4_compatibility_list look under , 2699 Sonic Chronicles - The Dark Brotherhood or 2794 Sonic Chronicles - The Dark Brotherhood . it would seem an unofficial firmware for the r4ds might play it v1.19 developed by a different r4 team , i havent tried it so its a risk if you do mate - http://www.r4team.com/eng/r4_v1.19_kernel.htm iff you try it first make a copy of your original r4ds firmware just in case the unofficial v1.19 dont work. woof811. ps. a very good forum for any r4ds probs here mate - http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showforum=113
