Hi, I bought an R4 last year and downloaded a few games onto it and use them no problems. I stopped using my DS lite for a while but have recently picked it up again. I've started downloaded games again but they won't play? Everytime I try to play the new downloaded games it says "could not read the data turn off the power and reinsert ds card" The older games still work, just the newest downloads? It seems that I can no longer download games?? Would anyone have any ideas why this is happening? Cheers Mick
Nice - but all you are adding is YSMenu - the first and most important thing to check is if the firmware for the cart has been updated (YSMenu does NOT work on all R4's) Check the site in my signature it hosts them all - make sure you get the right R4 - there are 40 different versions to choose from, get the wrong one and you get the dreaded loading / menu screen
That's great thank! Now...I am a bit of a numpty...how do I know what 'version of R4' I have?? I do with those files once I download them? Sorry but this is all pretty new to me! Cheers Mick
Hmmm....just looked and I think I have the v1.11 (it says that on the start up screen?) but the closest on the link from Kittymat is v1.11b is that the update I'd need? Cheers Mick

actually what i gave you was ysmenu with dstt firmware encrypted works much better that original r4 firmware
