Hi all, I have no trouble setting up R4 and R4 SDHC clone cards.They all work fine in my sons two DS lites but I also have an original DS (Non lite) which plays original games etc no problem but just won't recognise my R4 cards(which both work fine in the DS Lites).I have a 3rd R4 card on which I've loaded various versions..v1.18 etc but none seem to work.Anyone any ideas..please..I'ver never come across this before in any forums.
sounds to me mate that there is a contact problem between your original ds and the r4ds . is there any dust or dirt in the ds slot ? iff not then the paper trick will probably work as follows - cut a thin piece of card the same width as the r4ds but about 1 inch longer .( so you can get it out at a later date ) now place the thin piece of card on the sticker side of the r4ds and insert it into your ds . what this will now do is push the r4ds contacts closer to the contacts inside your ds by the width of the thin piece of card . woof811.
