Hi all. Can anyone help. I have a DS Lite which works perfectly with my own R4. I have just bought my partner a new Turquoise colour DS lite which wont accept my R4 & I have bought her a new R4 & tried different software/firmware as posted on other threads & cant get it to work. Is there something with the new DS lites that wont accept an R4. When I load the new R4 into her DS it just goes on to the DS's own menu (calendar etc). She is very dissappointed so please help if you can. Cheers Bob
Paper shim trick The card is not making contact with the pins in the DS - you need to put a piece of paper or card between the R4 and the rear of the ds, ths pushes the card onto the pins - its a very common issue
