I found the R4 SDHC for $24 form this site, but I am afraid it is fake or something as I heard about fake R4's. What is a cheap and reliable place to by the R4 SDHC? Thank you http://www.yallstore.com/memory-card-r4-sdhc-revolution-for-nintendo-ds-p-573.html
The R4 seems to be lacking in updates at the moment. Look at other threads. Save your money and buy an M3 at dealextreme.com for $29 - just make sure you order the English version.
The cheap ones are the fake ones. I brought 2xR4's from TechZo UK and they are real and work straight away.
depot888.com sell it too. $24.99 but I'm not sure how it works. I bought the classic R4 there. It's OK. and with a discount code which I found on retailmenot:280721, $2 OFF
dont find where to edit my post hail12: if u got a R4 SDHC, pls tell me how it works? I wanna to buy one if it is ok
i found a great spot to buy my r4 sdhc , cost me 23 euro and arrived in only 3 days to ireland brilliant service... if i do say so myself. it was called SPAM removed
buy at www.dealextreme.com for $16.49 free shipping worldwide, about 10days delivery time. but frankly, there are better flash cards than R4 out there.
Really?? does R4 have Real Time Save, Real Time Game Guide and Real time Cheat, ROM trimming, AR cheat codes, Wii connectivity, Full NDS download play or even soft reset? all these features are on either Supercard DSone, Acekard RPG or CycloDS u tell me whats so good about your R4 sdhc.
Yes, Zaccoyne do tell. Especially given the number of threads about problems with the clone and the questionable provenance of the clone firmware and likelihood of updates. Not interested in fanboy "well u suxxors!" kind of stuff (and not trying to be an anti-fanboy myself). Interested in reasoned conclusions about why the R4 clone card is better than any of the next generation cards.
To be honest I don't care which version of the R4 I have as long as it works i'm not bothered. If its fake and it works I'm not going to complain. The important thing is that it works and does what you want. techzo.co.uk have the best support. I had a minor problem the day I got my r4, Support helped me straight away. The customer service is excellent. The delivery it self is very fast. Its Worth it.
yes. as long as it works. BUT think on this : if u were going to buying a mp3/cellphone, would u buy one that was designed few yrs ago or one designed recently? BOTH WORKS of course. TO upgrade to a new one is not necessary as long as it works, like you said. BUT to buy one now? i wouldnt pick R4 or its clones. (this thread from hail12 is about wanting a new flash card)
hey folks, just bought myself an r4ds sdhc... don't care if it's a clone, it works for what I want it to do, and in the 6 months they've been updating the r4dshc.com site, I have yet to find a post from someone saying that the r4ds sdhc has bricked their DS/lite. I'm confident it will not brick mine, as someone I know keeps ragging on me about. Anyways, my question is about battery life with this thing, has anyone else noticed that your battery is constantly empty soon after charging with this thing? My freshly charged ds wasn't even on yesterday with the r4sdhc in the slot and the battery indicator said it was empty by the end of the day. now onto speculation: I find it coincidentally odd that the r4 official site stopped recieving updates in april 08 and the r4sdhc site (exact replica of r4 official site) came up in may, first with a GAR database update and then in june resuming with monthly firmwire revisions. I have a theory that either the team split or was caught or for whatever reason, only 1 or 2 guys are continuing the work on the r4sdhc... maybe the authorities caught a couple of them, who knows. It works is all I care. Chinese products... you never know, but I'm willing to wager that this is what happened. No contact info means they could've gotten a scare and don't want to be found.
I have a question if i get a M3 Real english Version from dealextreme will one of those 8gb micro SDHC they sale will they work because the micro SDHC are japanese version not english.
