hi i dont know if this is the suitable place for this but.... my sis has an r4ds but when i connect it to the micro sd reader it wont recognize the usb on the computer the usb adapter light doesnt come on- sometimes it doesnt even come up saying "usb unrecognized device" just nothing happens.. i tried a few things on the net 1 page said..... when it comes up saying unrecognized go to device manager and in the usb ports delete the one that says unknown device which i done and it makes the light come back on in the adapter but nothing else happens anyone know anything about this this!!!
1. One big run-on sentence makes your post hard to read and a lot of people will give up and not attempt to help. Please use a little punctuation. 2.The microSD reader doesn't recognize the computer, it's the other way around. 3.If I understand your post correctly, its ounds like your microSD reader is bad. If you plug the reader in with NO microSD card is it recognized? If not it's probably a bad reader. Try another reader. Most stand-alone microSD readers are pretty cheap and prone to failure. 4. If the reader is recognized then eject it (safely using the Windows remove USB device icon. Then put the microSD in and put the reader back in. If the device is not recognized then the microSD may have become corrupt.
sorry good point. its strange that it lights back up though when i tried that fix i explained in first post. but still dont detect.
