I have been having some trouble with wifi on my DSLite with my R4DS. Here is the situation. I have a DSLite and an R4DS, I have done configuring of my wireless router and all that stuff (although maybe I did something wrong), but here is where it gets tricky. I can successfully use the browser that is a part of DSOrganize (I can browse the internet no problem) and I can even connect to a multiplayer match on Advance Wars Days of Ruin (not real cartridge). HOWEVER, I cannot connect to a bunch of other games that I have tried such as Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games and Mario Kart DS. I was originally trying with Bubble Bobble revolution, but then realized nobody played it online according to nintendo's site of which games are being played, so I tried with some newer games. Almost no games work except Advance Wars Days of Ruin and the browser in DSOrganize. Does anyone have any idea what would cause certain games to work but not others??? I am at a loss here and am willing and open to suggestions, or maybe someone has had this problem before? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks much!
See if anything here is useful: http://wiki.scorpei.com/index.php/R4_compatibility_list They note on that page that "Some older ROM trimmers cut off too much data from the ROM and break download play. This included R4DS Rom Trimmer 1.0." That might be the issue?
I'll take a look, but what is weird about that is I even trimmed the Advance Wars Days of Ruin rom that seemed to be working for wifi...
