I have a PC with a cheapy graphics card, Sapphire Radeon 9550 with DVI out (http://www.ebuyer.com/product/112758), and a 42" Panasonic TH42PX70 TV (http://www.hdtvtest.co.uk/Panasonic-TH42PX70/Specification.php) with HDMI, and PC input (Mini D-sub 15-pin x 1).

What would be the best way to hook up the card to the tv (with regards to picture quality), would it be a DVI to HDMI cable? I'd like to keep it under £30, and the TV is about 5 meters away from the PC.

If your TV has DVI, and your computer has DVI, yet not BOTH of them have HDMI, well, then, DVI.
