    Hi Everyone

I think that all PCs have a limit of RAM whihc they can have in totall but im not sure. Do computers have a total amount of RAM which they can have, or do they just have an amount which they can store in each slot? Thanks

winme and 98 never put more than 256 becomes unstable, most mobos have a limit of how much they can take in total and most have a limit per slot you can find this out without to much effort by contacting the maker of pc or mobo website post the info here and we can help too

check your manual to see what the total ram can be for both the slots & motherboard

ddp I had read that putting over 256mb of ram in a Win98 or Me machine made the system unstable in one of my books and have never tested one thanks for letting me know.
