Ok i think i might of made a mistake but im not sure. Ok i had 512mb of ram to start with (2x256 sticks). I purchased a 1gb ddr ram. which would bring me up to 1.2gb of ram. the new ram works and all, shows up on my computer but for some reason it seems the games i played before are a little bit more laggy.. Well the question is can this be the problem. The ram i ordered is 1gb ddr pc2100...BUT my old ram is ddr pc3200, Is this gonna make a big difference?

why not just return the pc2100 1gig back for the pc3200 1gig?

the speeds do make a difference. always want the fastest the motherboard can handle.

if you do mix and match, the fastest one will downclock to the slow speed.

while you're at it, you might as well go to 2gigs.
