RAM

    Currently at the moment i have 256 sd ram....what do i need to look for when getting 1 gig Ram...i know i can install 1 gig as my friend checked it for me but i've heard SD is not the best?? what should i be getting?? if anyone else can help that would be appreciated... would that mean i have to upgrade to SD Ram ??

    install 4-256meg sd ram if have 4 sd slots

    so any brand of sd ram will work? what's pc 133 ?? i just don't want to spend the $$ and not have it work if u know what i mean??

    pc133 is 133mhz. you have pc66, 100 & 133 for sdram, ddr ram pc2100, 2700 & 3200 is 266, 333 & 400mhz. check to see if your board can run single sided sdram as about half price of double sided ram but might be read by your motherboard at half the value. ex 256meg might be read as 128 or 512meg read as 256meg.
