    Hi i have never come across this problem before woke up this morn switched pc on and noticed very slow to boot.
    Ihave noticed tho when it boots up my bios only reads 64mb instead off my 1gb.
    Why does my pc only recognise 64mb
    Any help please

    how many sticks of ram do you have? try reseating the ram back in it's slot or another to see if still have that problem or not.

    hi i have 1gb stick of ddr. tried another brand in and did the same.

    Does Windows pick up the whole 1gb? Tried a bootup RAM tester? Tried a BIOS flash?
