random popups

    hi, i am experiencing random pop-ups when I use my computer, or just leave it on unattended. I do not have IE running, yet there are still randomized pop-ups coming from no-where... I do not know how to stop them... I've tried using Ad-aware and Spybot, but after using both, the pop-ups still come about... anyone have any advice?

    na... it's not messenger service popups.. i've already solved that problem in the past... but it's real webpage popups... it's as if internet explorer runs at any given moment, i dont open in myself, and runs a webpage..

    this may or may not be related, but when i used to have kazaa, i had that problem a lot...like i said it may not be related butwhen i got rid of kazaa the problem seemed to go with it.....thank goodness for mIRC

    ADaware and Spybot remove um.... ads.... popups are.... popups :p To stop those, geta popup killer or damn near any firewall :)
