I've downloaded a program called Winrar, but can't get the .rar files to play. Can somebody point me in the right direction as to what I need to do? Thanks.
http://www.rarlab.com/rar_file.htm any help? -So first you have to unrar those rar files. And then what you get?
A .rar is like a .zip file. It is a file archived with other files in it. So, you use Winrar to uncompress what is contained inside the .rar file, typically multiple files. You don't "play" .rar files. If it is a rar file of a video, you play the video file that is contained in that rar file. Pretty self explanatory, but I suppose some people get stuck, .
You think or you figure it out? If it is image (iso, nrg, bin/cue...) you have to nount or/and burn it. mount with Alcohol 120% or Daemon Tools burn it with Nero or Alcohol 120% If it is some movie or like that u maybe need some codecs install FFDShow and AC3 Is it working?
I sure did read it. I didn't think the explanation needed a link. More help is better anyways, isn't it?
@alseides -it just hit my eye that you said the same things... but it did not harm any1. so please forget that
Help! I have downloaded a file and my bittorrent program says 100%. when I go to extract using winrar, I am getting an error message saying that there are no files to extract. It looks like everything is there but apparently not. One additional note, the first 33 files have the WinRAR icon in front of them but no suffix, the rest of the files have no icon but do have a suffix starting from r30. Can that have something to do with it? I have had this problem occasionally with some downloaded files but just ended up deleting thinking it was a corrupted file. I would really like to figure out what is wrong if it is a recoverable file. Additionally, the torrent there are nothing but very positive replies in the torrent site about this torrent and no one else seems to be having the same problem. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
