Hi guys, I'm just wonderin what does .rar subtitle mean? can it be converted into a .srt subtitle? if so, please tell me any software i can use to convert it, because i've been getting tons of .rar subtitles but i dunno what to do with them coz avi2dvd don't support .rar subtitles!!!.. tnx..
The files you have are Winrar files. The .rar extension denotes this. You will need Winrar to "unpack" these files. Heres a handy thread to read on this subject. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/248020
If the subs are rared, then usually that would mean VOBSub's. Usually it is just the idx that is compressed though. This is because they contain bitmaps which are quite large, but compress well. If AVI2DVD doesn't support VOBSub's, you would need to OCR to srt's. You could also use sub2sup or similar and author with the VOBSub's.
