I edited the soundtrack on Cliffhanger (input silence at certain points, did not change the length of audio file). I now have one wav file for the audio and a seperate video file with no sound. How do I join these files or re-author them so I can burn the new DVD with the edited soundtrack. I have tried to re-author it using ifoedit but the sound is out of sync. Any advice on how to do this. I've heard this can be done.
    Thanks

use someting like windows movie maker or adobe premier pro to import both video and wav, then save as dv-av for convserion to the codec of your choice.

if this video is divx, then your best bet is to use movie maker, prem pro doesnt support divx.

just as long as you have not changed the length of the sound file when editing it, it should be in sync , otherwise, you wil have to sync it manualy. and that would be painfull, unless there is some easier way , but im out of ides for that.

    regards

I use Video Edit Magic, just paste the video and audio files onto the respective tracks.

I found out I cannot use video edit magic for what I want to do. I have however found the solution to my problem by using re-authoring in ifoedit. I used it before but I was just picking the wrong files when I tried to re-author. It works great now and ifoedit is free.
