Hi, I am trying to re-record on some DVD-RW disks. The problem is, when I put my disk into the recorder and try to set the record time, the DVR automatically sets the record quality level based on the amount of space left on the disk. Is there somewhere I can go and delete the disk contents??? Any help is appreciated..... this is driving me crazy!!!!!

    Thanks.... and Cheers!

    Three things you can do:

    1. Look for a way to delete the program(s) already on the disc (should be somewhere in the menu system, though every recorder is different so I can't give you any specifics).
    2. Reformat the whole disc (again, on the menu somewhere).
    3. Put the disc in a computer DVD drive and use DVD software to erase the disc.
