THIS GUIDE IS WRITTEN TO HELP PEEPS install the motorola drivers so your computer recognizes your phone.

Once you conduct these steps, you should be able to run MPT and/or RSD Lite and/or the other motorola interfacing programs properly.

You'll need to find Motorola Phone tools on your own, there ain't no link in this guide.

Also, if you've already tried and failed on connecting your phone, I would suggest you delete all installations of drivers or programs and start from square one.

thank you, that was a really good tutorial site

but my problem is whenever i try to flash with RSD Lite, when it's gone where it restarts the phone, it always freezes there... after quite a few moment, it change into please manually turn on your cell phone... but the phone is not even off... it was on a screen were some wierd codes... and if I turn it off and back on myself, RSD Lite just simply freezes there...

any suggestion? By the way, i'm using Motorola E1 if this matters...

Well yeah, the prob you're running into is the site and the software is designed for the V3 Razr. So you can't get it to work on an E1--different phone, my friend.
